£50 CASH CALL – Starting Thursday 10th September 2026

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter The £50 Cash Call is promoted by North East Radio Scotland (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility * The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over. * Employees of North East Radio Scotland, their immediate family members, and anyone directly involved in organising the promotion are not eligible to participate. * No purchase is necessary to register or participate.

3. How to Enter * Listeners must register through the North East Radio Scotland website. * By registering, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions. * Entrants must provide accurate contact information and must be contactable on the telephone number provided. * Registration does not guarantee that an entrant will be selected for a Cash Call.

4. The £50 Cash Call * The £50 Cash Call takes place every Thursday from 4:30pm on North East Radio Scotland. * One registered listener may be selected for a live telephone call during the programme. * The selected listener will be asked one question by the presenter. * If the listener answers the question correctly, they will win £50 cash. * If the listener answers incorrectly, they will not win the £50 prize. * The decision of the presenter regarding whether an answer is correct will be final.

5. Contacting the Selected Listener * The Promoter will attempt to contact the selected entrant using the telephone number provided during registration. * The entrant must be available to take the call and participate live on air. * If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, does not answer, declines to participate, or is unable to take part live on air, the Promoter may select another registered entrant. * The Promoter is not responsible for failed calls caused by network problems, incorrect contact details, phone settings, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

6. Prize * The prize is £50 cash. * There is one £50 prize available per Cash Call, unless otherwise stated by North East Radio Scotland. * The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize. * The Promoter will arrange payment of the prize to the successful winner following confirmation of their eligibility and successful answer.

7. Radio Broadcast * By taking part in the Cash Call, the winner agrees that their name, voice and participation may be broadcast live on North East Radio Scotland and may subsequently be used in promotional material relating to the competition. * Entrants should not provide sensitive personal information during the live broadcast.

8. Registration and Personal Information * Personal information supplied when registering will be handled in accordance with North East Radio Scotland’s Privacy Policy. * Registration information will be used for the purposes of administering the Cash Call and contacting selected entrants. * Entrants should only provide personal information that is accurate and belongs to them.

9. General Conditions * The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation where an entrant has breached these Terms & Conditions or has provided false or misleading information. * The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Cash Call where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. * Any changes to these Terms & Conditions will be published on the North East Radio Scotland website. * The Promoter’s decision regarding the administration of the Cash Call and the awarding of the prize shall be final, subject to applicable law. * These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.

10. Acceptance of the Terms By registering for the £50 Cash Call, entrants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. GOOD LUCK FROM NORTH EAST RADIO SCOTLAND! North East Radio Scotland reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated on the competition webpage.
