North East Radio Scotland was setup by Ronnie Arthur & Joe Gault as well as some other well known radio voices within North East Scotland. 

Over the years Ronnie as been involved with radio from a very young age. 

Ronnie lives and breathes the North East area so he knows what matters to our listeners. 

Being local and having the connection to our listeners is the reason I’ve set up North East Radio – I have been involved with radio from a very young age and just love all things radio.

North East Radio Scotland is a community radio station serving towns and villages within the North East Area Of Scotland. 

We broadcast hit music from the last 60 years, plus specialist programmes, news and local community information, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Unlike commercial radio, North East Radio Scotland is a community station. 

This means we are a non-profit organisation. We are here to inform and entertain the people of North East as well as playing an active part in the local community and providing training opportunities.
